Beginnings

There quite a few beginnings here for me. The two big ones being this site’s release and my venture into the world of blogging. The other is more of a personal achievement of getting on the right track towards future goals.
This new website, DistinctiveQuality.com, will showcase some of my design work as well as articles and resources relating to the world of design. It is devided in four sections: Web, Desktop, Mobile, and Other. The bulk of my work and a majority of the articles will be on Web Design, which includes interface design (graphics), interactive media (Flash) and front-end programming (CSS/XHTML). Desktop refers to other computer applications and will mainly focus on interface design and interaction. Mobile is various devices and their interface. And Other is miscellaneous work that I’ve done and design-related subjects of interest.
I’ve been hesitant about starting a blog myself because of how many blogs are now online. What made me decide to finally do it is the fact that there are so many thoughts that I want to get down in some form to refer back to later on.
My personal achievement is finally getting what I feel is my own ultimate organized portfolio site. It’s gone through many versions, which I may archive somewhere later, but this should finally be it… I hope.
